Inspired by Suzy Bishop's binoculars in Moonrise Kingdom.
They’re one of Suzy's defining objects; she brings them everywhere so she can “look at things from a distance,” which is a perfect little metaphor for how she sees the world and why she feels so misunderstood.
In collaboration with Wes Anderson and The London Design Museum for their Wes Anderson The Archives exhibition, we bring you a collection of charms inspired by Anderson's filmography.
Each charm is made 100% from film silver reclaimed from the silver harvested during the processing of Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme (2025)
Film negatives contain silver halides within their emulsion layers, which form the image after development. This silver is extracted during the film processing at Cinelab Film & Digital, which we then collect and reclaim into beautiful pieces of jewellery, connecting it back to the films it has come from.
Each charm has a snap shut bail and can be added to most necklace chains and bracelets.
