Submissions for From The Silver Screen and KodakPresents: Film on Film are now OPEN!
Our aim is to bring together a community of creatives who share a passion for film. We want to screen fantastic films using this medium, and through our film initiative hope to develop work shot on film with filmmakers we connect with.
We accept any style or genre of short film, so long as it is shot on film! From The Silver Screen is a newly launched company, celebrating all things film (that’s 8mm, 16mm, 35mm and 70mm - not digital!)
This company's mission is to bring together a community of creatives who share a passion for analog film. We want to screen fantastic work from people using this medium, and soon hope to develop work shot on film with filmmakers we connect with.
All seven of our screenings thus far have been completely sold-out and a fantastic evening of shorts, filmmaker Q&As and networking.
The eigth edition of our live screenings of shorts shot on film will be in London in December

From The Silver Screen have partnered with four industry stakeholders to create the ultimate analog filmmakers package for indie filmmakers to shoot a short film. We have teamed up with Kodak, Cinelab Film & Digital, Arri Rental and Company 3 to support your film from conception to completion.
