Inspired by Super Nature, the new documentary by Ed Sayers, this pendant represents Najin and Fatu, the last two Northern White Rhinos left on Earth, both female.
Made from reclaimed silver recovered from Super 8 film used in the making of Super Nature, the pendant connects the story of these remarkable animals with the tactile, imperfect beauty of shooting on film.
Shot entirely on Super 8 by over 40 filmmakers around the world, Super Nature celebrates more than 120 species, from the rarest animals to the creatures we often overlook. With just 2.5 minutes of film on each cartridge, every shot had to be intentional, a fitting approach for a film exploring the fragility and wonder of the natural world.
10% of profits from this pendant will be donated to BioRescue and Ol Pejeta Conservancy, supporting their work to save the Northern White Rhino from extinction.
