Crafted from real film, this ring is made using 925 sterling silver recovered during the processing of photographic film at Cinelab Uk. transforming a by-product of cinema into something permanent. Available in its pure form or finished in 18ct gold vermeil, layered over our signature film silver.

Celebrating the unpredictability of film photography, #FirstOfTheRoll isn’t a famous hashtag for no reason. Anyone who has shot on 35mm will have experienced that the first frame of the roll is usually a partial image with film burn along the edge. This is due to the film being exposed to the light whilst being loaded. Whilst some people do everything they can to minimise this, others embrace the beautifully imperfect aesthetic.
