Celebrating the unpredictability of film photography, #FirstOfTheRoll isn’t a famous hashtag for no reason! Anyone who has shot on 35mm will have experienced that the first frame of the roll is usually a partial image with film burn along the edge. This is due to the film being exposed to the light whilst being loaded. Whilst some people do everything they can to minimise this, others embrace the beautifully imperfect aesthetic.

Authentic 16mm Film Can Jewellery Box
Not only is our silver upcycled from its special origins, but so too is the packaging! All of our Film Firsts jewellery will come encased in an original 16mm film can, for another cinema keepsake. This repurposed, sheet metal tin would have been holding real film stock from a production shot within the last year.
